Professional Background and Training

I am credentialed by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists (#56294) and licensed in the State of California (CA PSY 30392). I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, and am a graduate of the American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited California School of Professional Psychologist (CSPP) at Alliant International University, San Francisco Bay, where I earned my doctorate (PSY.D.) in clinical psychology.

Throughout my years of clinical training, I had the privilege of working with adults, children, and families through community-based mental health, school, and hospital-based settings, including the Alameda Health System – Highland Hospital and John George Psychiatric Pavilion.

I  completed my pre-doctoral internship at the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Loma Linda Healthcare System (Jerry L. Pettis Veterans' Hospital) (APA accredited) and my postdoctoral fellowship at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System – Sepulveda Ambulatory Care (APA accredited).

At the VA, I gained expertise working in primary care, the sleeping disorders clinic, PTSD clinical team, behavioral health interdisciplinary program with knowledgeable and highly skilled professionals. I gained extensive skill in evidence-based treatment of trauma from combat veterans and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
